*QD (Quick Delivery) Belt Conveyors Orders:

• Here is our February News update. We currently have a good number of orders for our integral drum drive QD style belt conveyor. This is already featured on our website - click here for the details. This newsletter highlights the specific features which make it so attractive.

*Features:

• We developed the QD belt conveyor as a standard, quick delivery product. Standard belt widths are 300, 450, 600 and 800 mm. The standard lengths are 1 m long minimum to 10 m maximum in 1 m increments giving maximum size flexibility. Standard optional features include mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium construction, inverter variable speed control, side guides and endless belts vs. clipped.

• QD belt conveyors are very compact. Because we use an integral drum drive motor the motor and gearing is all combined integrally within the drive drum and gives the QD belt conveyor a streamlined appearance. The drum motors are available in two diameters, 113 mm standard and 84 mm if a smaller diameter is required. Normal speed range is between 5m/min to 50m/min depending on requirements.

*Special Requirements:

• Our standard QD belt conveyor supply will fit most requirements. However, if you require something special, we are always keen to help. Some current 'specials' include small tail end pulleys (30 mm diameter), special belt materials, mobile units on castors, security covers to enclose the conveyors etc.
